Effects of Watching Too Much TV
Discoveries and invention of devices are always welcome till we, humans, find a way to abuse its benefits and be adversely affected by it. This was the case when Wilhelm Roentgen discovered x-ray and within five years, the British Army was using a mobile x-ray unit to locate bullets and shrapnel in wounded soldiers in the Sudan. TV was also`         invented with positive thoughts in mind – there would be no national borders, education and communication would be worldwide, etc. However, we are now trying to overcome its physiological and psychological adverse effects on human beings.
One of the physiological effects of watching TV in excessive amounts is eye-strain. It is true that there are specifications for watching TV; TV should be 5 m. away from the eye, the room should be adequately lit, TV should be placed at the same height with our eyes, etc. However, these do not prevent our eyes from getting tired if we keep watching TV for a long time. Another effect is obesity, which is widely observed in people who like watching TV and eating snacks everyday (there is even a term “TV snacks” to refer to fast food that is suitable for eating in front of the TV). TV is such a powerful machine that people cannot get away from it – it is addictive.
Apart from the physiological effects, TV also causes psychological effects. One is a result of being exposed to violence. After seeing so many violent scenes on TV, people start considering violent actions normal and they lose their sensitivity to their environment. Partly connected to this effect, the interpersonal communication among people decreases. Being insensitive to the suffering of other people causes people to become alienated. Also, after coming home from work people seek to relax in front of the TV, and generally people prefer watching TV to talking to each other. This issue is very important since lack of interpersonal relationships mostly end with divorces.
Shortly, inventions are meant to be beneficial for human beings, if we know how to benefit from them. TV is one of such inventions that need to be used for the right purpose only – being educated and entertained or a reasonable (according to age) period of time. We may, then, be safe from or at least reduce the adverse physiological and psychological effects of watching too much TV.
3.7.3        Free Writing Test
This test promotes students to able writing any passage freely. Here the teacher can ask the students to write down their experience or something like that. Each can be use in junior high school or senior high school level.
1.      Write down your daily activities or your experience last week. You can write maximal 5 paragraphs.
3.8      Cloze Test
Cloze test is an exercise, test or assessment that consists of a portion of text with certain words removed (cloze text), where the participant is asked to replace the missing words. Cloze test require the ability to understand context and vocabulary in order to identify the correct words or type of words that belong in deleted passages of a text. For example:
1. Example of cloze test:
1.Site activity information. We keep {1}______ of some of the actions {2}______ take on Facebook, such as {3}______ connections (including joining a group {4}______ adding a friend), creating a {5}______ album, sending a gift, poking {6}______ user, indicating you “like” a {7}______, attending an event, or connecting {8}______ an application. In some cases {9}______ are also taking an action {10}______ you provide information or content {11}______ us. For example, if you {12}______ a video, in addition to {13}______ the actual content you uploaded, {14}______ might log the fact that {15}______ shared it.
{1} track {2} you {3} adding {4} or {5} photo {6} another {7} post {8} with {9} you {10} when 11} to {12} share {13} storing {14} we {15} you.

I agree with what have been said by Sri Yuliani and Safriana Asrawi because the main point if we collect sample of test is the source. It will be better if after every sample of test, for example below recognized the sound of language test, collectors put the source. It is to make the test clearer. Readers will not ask questions again where the test is taken.
But, generally this data is good enough because almost every kind of test has aim. It helps readers to understand the test because readers are given schemata. Without looking for the sample of test, readers know what the test will be about.

I like this data because almost kind of test has aim. It helps readers to understand the test because readers are given schemata without looking for the samples of test; readers know what the test will be about. However, it will be better if the writers put source of every sample of test not generally. For example, below recognize the sound of language test, writers put the source. It is to make the test clear. Moreover, readers will not ask question again where the test is taken.

I think the data is good and complete for the reader, because the author gives an explanation of each test and also the author gives examples of the test. But, it will better if the author put the source of learning in the test sample, so that the reader is not difficult to find from where the test is taken.

This article gives a good description of several kinds of examples of language testing. But unfortunately the author doesn't explain the specific function and purpose of each of the test itself.
:)

I do agree with others statement, this article is good enough, because the writer give explanation and the aim of each sample of the test clearly. but however, there are two things that I want to recommend for the writers, first, before proceeding in chapter one or background, it would be better if the writers give project description similar with others group done, in project description you as the writers give more explanation about the aim of the project, where do you want to publish your article beside the blog, the duty of each members of your group like who will be assigned to collect the sample test of cloze test, etc. it would help the reader to activize their schemata before their read your background, because in project description, the reader has gotten understanding about your article firstly. The second, about the source. in this article, the writer put the source at the end of this article, I supposed it would be better if the writer put the source in the bottom of each sample of the test, so the reader can be more trusted about your sample of each test. thanks :-)

I think we have similar idea Sri Yuliani. It is about the source of the test. The source will be very important in collecting sample of test because it will give clear description of the test. But, overall I think this is a good article.

Hello everyone! How is your life? hope everything run well. Nice to see this article. I agree with all of the statements above. I just want to recommend for the writers to put Chapter III conclusion. Because I ever read the writing book, how to construct a good paragraph, if U put Chapter I as introduction, Chapter II as Discussion it will be better if you put Chapter III as conclusion of this overall paper. So, all of the sentences run smoothly. All in all, I like the content of this paper, it’s clear. ^_^

@ Nurul atma :Yeaaahhhh atma,, we have similar idea about the source of this article, but I think, this article will be better if the writer add project description in their article. ^_^

@ Salmatian safiuddin :nice suggestion sister ^_^

Oh ya, besides seeing the lack of sources of the sample test, I also want to give an advice to authors in order to better include or indicate how to pronounce the words contained in the pronunciation test so other readers can know exactly how to pronounce some of the examples word.

In these data, the first describes three kinds of test that is sound of language test, writing test and cloze test. In group 1 first chapter describes the test as well as their understanding also provides test what they would discuss and group II chapter 1 explains the three kinds of test. Each test has been given a good explanation of the meaning and example. And I think it is complete for the reader. According to Djiwandono (2008:12), the sound of language test is a tool or procedure to conduct That used in assessment and evaluation toward language ability with language ability to conduct measurement, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing Generally. writing test is test is a test the which is the question and answers That given to the student in written form. And in my own group as well, I happened to explain the cloze test.
